About our Fabrics
Always Reclaimed
Our designs are always made from reclaimed and repurposed textiles, sourced locally in the community. That means that they are often completely unique- and unlikely to be found again!
From fabric remnants, repurposed linens and tablecloths, to upcycled clothing - our priority is always to reinvent what we already have, in order to make something new.
It's important to know that while we always inspect our fabrics carefully, they are pre-loved and may have minor imperfections. Light color fading is not uncommon, and spot-cleaning is used when needed. All fabrics are pre-washed and dried in house before they are sewn, so they are squeaky clean and ready to wear when you receive them!
Garment Care & Wash Instructions
Though our garments are handmade, we still prioritize building styles that will be easy to care for and wash! All of our fabrics are pre-washed & dried to help mitigate shrink, before cut & sew.
Betty Boxers can be washed and dried normally, in your home washing machine and dryer.
We do recommend a gentle cycle, cold water, and washing inside-out to protect buttons and any delicate trims. Tumble dry on a lower heat setting, also folded inside-out.
